YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP ENSURE THE CONTINUANCE OF OUR
YOUTH PROGRAM INTO THE 2006/2007 SEASON.

In 2005/2006, Toronto Playback Theatre and Ralph Thornton Centre received funding from the National Crime Prevention Centre to bring Playback Theatre to youth organizations across Toronto. We trained 9 talented young people to use Playback Theatre as an approach to violence prevention.

Winner of the 2006 Leonardo da Vinci Award for Creativity and Innovation (Arts), our youth program has created dialogue within our city's high schools and many other organizations, including CCCJ Youth Leadership Forum (educating against discrimination, prejudice and bias), Connect To Youth (at-risk youth leadership and life skills training), and Riverdale Collegiate United Games (anti-violence initiative).
