Stories of Difference

“He who is different from me does not impoverish me - he enriches me … For no man seeks to hear his own echo, or to find his reflection in the glass.”
- Antoine De Saint-Exupery

What does it feel like to be different from those around you?
How do you respond when you encounter “other”?
How can we learn to live with those whose values and beliefs
fundamentally differ from ours?

We hear so many stories these days about people divided by conflicts of culture, race, and religion. As our neighborhoods and communities become more and more diverse, perhaps it is valuable for us to examine our own response when we encounter difference.

Join us for our first Playback show of the season in which we listen to stories about difference. Come share your experience, or just sit back, listen and watch.
