Stories of Food

“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold,
it would be a merrier world.”

   - J. R. R. Tolkien

What are your stories about sharing food?
What is your experience of hunger and nourishment?
What is it like to have others feed you, and for you to feed others?

It has been said that breaking bread together is the most universal form sharing and communication. Food is what sustains us–and meeting together over food is an essential ritual in bringing the community together. Come join us for an evening of your stories about the role of food in your life and in the life of your family and culture.
